Premier Palace: The century chronicled in one book

Is it possible for a hotel to become an integral part of the history of a city, or even of an entire nation? If we speak about the history of such a remarkable hotel as the Premier Palace, the leader of the Premier Hotels collection, then we can say “Yes!”.
To learn more about how this has become so, a new book entitled “Premier Palace Kiev”, part of “The World’s Famous Hotels” series, endeavours to justify this impressive claim. The book’s author is Andreas Augustine, a journalist, writer and founder of the organisation The Most Famous Hotels of the World.
While Augustine was working on the book, he stayed at the Premier Palace, deepening his personal impressions of the hotel and reflecting them in his book. “Premier Palace Kiev” also contains some archival data from around the globe that has never before been made public – a fact that adds significant value to the author’s work. Just a few pages into what Augustine has written will immerse readers in the exciting life of the city of Kiev and the hotel (prior to its reopening as the Premier Palace) as it was over the past century. Most importantly, it will give readers a sense of the opulence and service long associated with the present-day Premier Palace.
The book has been written in an easy-to-read manner with an exciting storyline, and includes many old and present-day photographs and illustrations. “Premier Palace Kiev” makes for a wonderful gift and can be purchased right in the hotel in Russian, Ukrainian or English.
