Premier Palace Hotel awarded Golden Keys of Conciergerie

The Premier Palace Hotel’s Concierge, Serhiy Tykhiy, has become the first and only person to be awarded one of the most prestigious prizes of the International Union of Grand Hotel Concierges Les Clefs d’Or, the Golden Keys of Conciergerie.

Even being nominated for the award speaks highly of the professional individual, as a number of criteria are applied during the judging process: knowledge of several languages, an ability to connect well with people, to cope with a wide range of everyday situations, and to carry out any wishes a client might have, including those that might look impossible at first glance.

Each nominee who wants the Golden Keys of  Conciergerie to be awarded to them has to have worked in a hotel for a minimum of four years, at least three of which had to be in the capacity of a concierge.

Currently, there is no representative office of Les Clefs d’Or in Ukraine. The nearest office of the International Union of Grand Hotel Concierges is in Moscow, and this is where Mr. Tykhiy traveled to represent our Hotel. The top concierges of world hotel chains in Moscow and Kyiv gave him some serious competition, but after the jury’s final secret ballot, the best of the best turned out to be the Premier Palace Hotel’s
concierge, Serhiy Tykhiy.

As Serhiy puts it, “Historically, our hotel has always been the first. We were the first to be given five stars and we were the first to offer our guests personal butler services as part of the room charge. I would like to dedicate my victory to the Premier Palace Hotel and to its 100
years, which we are celebrating this year”.
