Film-maker David Lynch launches Foundation and new book in Kyiv

American film director and screenwriter David Lynch, maker of such legendary films as “Twin Peaks,” “Lost Highway,” “Mulholland Drive,” “Dune,” “Blue Velvet,” “The Elephant Man,” “Eraserhead,” “Wild at Heart,” and “The Straight Story,” hosted a special evening reception at the Sofia Grand Hall of the Premier Palace Hotel April 13, 2009. Winner of the 1990 Golden Palm, Best Director at the Cannes Festival in 2001, and three-time nominee for the Best Director Oscar (1981, 1987, 2002), Mr. Lynch came to Kyiv to present his book “Catch the Big Fish: Meditation, Consciousness and Creativity” and to announce the launch of the Ukrainian representative office of the David Lynch Foundation.
