Philanthropy is part of the Premier Palace Hotel’s Mission.
And part of this Mission, the Premier Palace Hotel sees as charitable projects, support for Ukraine’s cultural heritage and campaigns to assist needy children.
“Our goal is not simply to provide charity but to actually assist children,” says Premier Palace Hotel General Director Maksym Bondaruk. “Every year, the Hotel draws up a Social Action Plan and carries it out, step by step. Our program is intended to work in three key areas: supporting cultural heritage, assistance to children and other social projects. We believe that helping out financially is only one part of proper support. In many cases, it is humaneness, sincerity and moral or psychological support that are needed! The entire team at the Hotel is keen to support various social initiatives – we help both in word and indeed.”
• Premier Orchestra
Together with the National Philharmonic of Ukraine, we organized the first national competition of chamber orchestras in 2009, called Premier Orchestra. Thanks to the sponsorship of the Premier Palace Hotel, Ukrainian chamber orchestras were able to demonstrate their masterly work to a wide audience and an international jury. The winners of the competition were named laureates, received valuable prizes, and were able to record a disk of their best works.
• Barvinok Orphanage in Makariv, Kyiv Oblast
Over the last few years, the Premier Palace Hotel had been fostering the Orphanage in Makariv, Kyiv Oblast. The Hotel helped renovate the residential and educational infrastructure, equipped a computer class, built a playground and playing field, and regularly provided much-needed consumer goods and food. The entire Premier Palace team has been working to give these boys and girls age 6–16 who have lost parental care a better childhood. In 2010, the Barvinok Orphanage was dismantled and the children were transferred to the guardianship of another charitable project, “Orphans are Our Kids.”
• Shans Children’s Treatment Center in Bila Tserkva, Kyiv Oblast

The Shans Center helps these kids develop their abilities and skills so that they can more fully be integrated and adapt to life in their communities.
- 2005 - The Hotel paid for double-glazed sealed windows to be installed in the early rehabilitation department for children under three, which helped the center face winter more warmly.

• Orphans are Our Kids
As of 2010, the Premier Palace Hotel is a permanent partner of the “Orphans are Our Kids” project. Under this project, every month at Premier Palace Hotel there is a meeting of people from international and national companies, foreign rep offices, government agencies, patrons and other interested individuals. The main purpose of the project is to help orphans adapt to the outside world once they have to leave the four walls of their orphanage and to develop a professional orientation.
Project mission: To join forces, opportunities and resources with others in order to set up a system for delegating responsibility for bringing up orphans on all responsible and not indifferent people in Ukrainian society so that the orphaned child will develop a proper sense of who she or he is.
Goals and objectives of this project: To bring people together who are prepared to meet the needs and to begin to work together with foundations and organizations that are already active in this area.
• Oasis
The Premier Palace Hotel responds readily to the initiatives of charitable foundations, especially those that work with children. This is why the Hotel assists the All-Ukrainian Oasis Charitable Foundation in providing free meals at the Terracotta Restaurant to orphans and the guardians from their boarding schools, who visit Kyiv every spring under the Unforgettable Weekends Foundation project. This year, the Hotel is involved in the fund’s initiative for the second time and is prepared to continue to do so.
• Warm A Child’s Life with Care
In 2010, the Premier Palace Hotel supported the “Warm a Child’s Life with Care” social charitable project with the support of the International Charitable Foundation, “Ukraine! I’m behind you!” to collect money for an orphanage by providing valuable prizes for the drawing. All money received from the sale of tickets went to help orphanages.
• Ukraine, I’m Behind You!
Also in 2010, the Premier Palace Hotel supported an initiative by the “Ukraine, I’m Behind You!” charitable foundation by supporting the Healthy Kids Project. This project’s goal is to buy and install medical apparatuses to clear the bronchi, to do lab tests and to carry out complicated surgery on the bronchi, larynx and trachea at the №17 Children’s Hospital in Kyiv.

• AC Milan Junior Camp
In 2010, the Hotel became partners with the Italian Football Club, AC Milan’s summer camp, AC Milan Junior Camp, which opened its doors to Ukrainian children for the first time in June 2010. To give a child the gift of a dream is the main way to fight for a strong new generation. Such projects can not only reveal new faces in national football, but also to demonstrate to the broader public that sports are interesting, fashionable and vitally important. The junior camp of the AC Milan club is the official base for AC Milan’s junior division. It has been scouting for talented children in various countries. Thanks to Praveks Bank and the Premier Palace Hotel, the AC Milan Junior Camp is being organized in Ukraine on a triennial basis. The coaches are housed in the Premier Palace Hotel, the official sponsor of Milan Junior Camp Kyiv 2010–2012. The first press conference in Spring 2010 was attended by Andriy Shevchenko, Ukraine’s world-class football star and the second one, in Spring 2011, brought the legendary Franco Baresi, Italian and World Champion, who is currently AC Milan’s international representative. What surprises await our kids in 2012…?

Environment
Programs regulating the consumption of natural resources – water, gas, energy and minimizing consumption of non-recyclable waste products.
Community
